President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, met with Maj. Gen. Abdullahi Bagudu Mamman (Rtd) at the presidential villa, Abuja, Newz NG reports.
Mamman is the Board Chairman, Global Initiative for Leadership Success (GILS), a group said to promote leadership success in Nigeria.
The meeting with Buhari, Newz NG gathered, centred on the proposed African Security Leadership Summit with the Nigerian government.
Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, who made the disclosure in a tweet sighted by Newz NG on Tuesday, wrote;
“President @MBuhari meets with His Royal Highness, Maj. Gen. Abdullahi Bagudu Mamman (Rtd) and his team, on proposed African Security Leadership Summit today at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
Newz NG recalls that Mamman, who once chaired a presidential committee on ‘Boko Haram detainees’, came under attack after he declared that Nigeria was not ready for the fight against insurgency and terrorism.
